The design reimagines the traditional plastic grocery bag using micro-flute corrugated cardboard, designed to support loads of up to 10 kg while remaining lightweight and practical. Its structure allows the bag to “wrap” around its contents, providing greater stability, balance, and comfort during transport.
After its recommended use, the cardboard bag takes on a second life as a temporary seedling planter. The side openings allow for proper ventilation and water drainage, supporting healthy plant growth until the plant is ready to be transferred to a pot, at which point the cardboard can begin to biodegrade naturally.
The bags are transported flat, with the adhesive areas pre-applied to make stacking and storage easier. This system allows for quick and simple assembly: as the bag is folded into shape, the side flaps form automatically, ensuring an efficient assembly process.
